Yes. Orlando is a sprawling metropolitan area. Although it has a public transportation system (The Lynx bus system), having a car is preferable.

What is it like living right next door to Disney World?

Well, actually Disney is about 45 minutes on the opposite corner of the city of Orlando. It is far enough away to ignore it if you want to but at the same time close enough to visit if you're a fan of Mickey.

What is the weather like in Orlando?

Orlando has a very temperate climate. In the summer the temperature can hover around 90 degrees in the middle of the afternoon, but just about everyday there is a nice refreshing rain that cools down the temperature to a pleasant 70 degrees. In the winter, sunny days and 70 degree temperatures are the norm.
